A family cutler founded in 1820, Puiforcat began to turn to silversmithing in the late nineteenth century, recreating the classic masterpieces collected by Louis-Victor Puiforcat. But the House owes its renown to Jean Puiforcat, the inventor of modern silversmithing who, in the 1920s, imposed the geometric rigor and pure, architectural volumes, characteristic of the Art Deco period, to the family workshop.

Today, relying on the exceptional savoir-faire of its craftsmen, Puiforcat recreates the finest pieces of its heritage while imagining the classics of tomorrow.
